YouTube Shorts publishing for creator-owned videos
Clipin lets creators generate short videos, review completed exports, and choose whether to publish or schedule them to their own YouTube channel. New YouTube connections are currently in beta while Google completes OAuth verification.
Create and export a video
Generate a short video in Clipin, review the final export, and choose a completed file.
Connect YouTube with consent
Clipin asks for YouTube access only when the creator chooses to connect a channel for publishing.
Publish now or schedule
The creator sets title, description, tags, visibility, and an optional publish time before queueing.
Upload to the user's channel
Clipin uploads only the selected completed export to the connected YouTube channel.
How Clipin uses Google OAuth
Clipin uses YouTube OAuth permissions only for user-initiated publishing. The connected channel identity is read so the creator can confirm which YouTube account is linked.
Video upload access is used only after the creator selects a completed export and clicks publish or schedules a publish time. Clipin does not publish draft videos automatically.
Creators can disconnect saved YouTube publishing access from the Publish page at any time. Existing publication history remains visible, but new publishes require reconnecting a channel.
